A study: The relationship between ergonomic office furniture and employee creativity

Employees who have access to ergonomic office furniture are more likely to be creative, according to a new study conducted by the University of Texas. The study’s findings are based on a survey of nearly 500 employees from a range of industries.

The survey asked respondents about their access to ergonomic office furniture and their levels of creativity. The findings showed that employees who had access to ergonomic office furniture were more likely to come up with creative solutions to problems than those who did not have access to such furniture.

The researcher Sang-Pil Han says: “Our findings suggest that organizations should invest in ergonomic office furniture, not only for the health of their employees, but also for the creativity of their employees.”
