Active sitting is a way of sitting that engages the muscles and promotes good posture.
How do you sit on the Wobblez wobble products?
With your feet right in front of you on the ground. When you sit on the wobble stool, put your feet flat on the floor in front of you. Then you automatically – while you are working at your desk – start wobbling. Small movements of approx. 5 centimeters to all sides. Your back will almost automatically assume an upright posture and that is exactly how you exercise your back muscles. A wobble stool or sitting ball is also often called a balance stool or pilates ball, because you rotate around your axis and always look for balance.
All products improve your posture and promote active sitting: strenghtening your back muscles by continually moving. On a saddle stool, you are more stable. On a sitting ball you are the most flexible. The saddle and wobble stool have the advantage that they are adjustable in height. It is really a matter of personal preference.

To sit with a straight back, it is also important that you adjust the height of the stool properly. This is easily done by pressing one of the three buttons under the seat.
What is the correct height for the wobble stool? When you're sitting at your desk, your elbows should make a 90-degree right angle to the desktop, like an angle like in the letter L.
The lowest setting is 43 centimeters and the highest is 63 centimeters. This makes this wobble stool suitable for both children and adults who work at a table or desk.
We have a wide range of products because we don't believe in one solution. People are different and some people enjoy standing behind a desk, some prefer a saddle stool and some a sitting ball. An advice for an office would be to invest in as many different sitting options as possible as regularly changing your chair is best for you back muscles.
